Due to the nature of bulk commodities, import/export transactions, and wholesale distribution, all sales are considered final unless otherwise agreed in writing. Returns or refunds are only accepted under the conditions described below.

3. Eligibility for Returns

Returns may be considered only if:

  • The goods delivered are materially different from what was specified in the confirmed order or invoice.
  • The goods are damaged due to handling prior to transfer of risk, as defined in the applicable agreement.
  • The goods are proven to be defective at the time of delivery.

4. Non-Returnable Items

  • Bulk commodities once delivered or offloaded

  • Goods damaged after delivery
  • Custom or special-order items
  • Goods sold “as is” or at discounted rates

5. Inspection and Notification

  • Clients must inspect all goods immediately upon delivery.
  • Any claims for damage, shortage, or incorrect items must be reported in writing within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

6. Return Authorization Process

  • All returns require prior written authorization from Afrik Import & Export Group Pty Ltd.
  • Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
  • Approved returns must follow the instructions provided, including packaging, labeling, and shipping method.

7. Condition of Returned Goods

Returned goods must:

  • Be unused and in their original condition where applicable
  • Include original packaging and documentation
  • Meet inspection approval upon receipt

8. Return Shipping Costs

  • Unless otherwise agreed, the client is responsible for all return shipping, handling, and insurance costs.
  • If the return is due to an error by Afrik Import & Export Group Pty Ltd, return shipping costs may be covered by us.

9. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed after returned goods are received and inspected.
  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method or as account credit, at our discretion.
  • Shipping, customs duties, taxes, and handling fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

10. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued for:

  • Goods that show signs of handling or usage
  • Incomplete or damaged returns not caused by our error
  • Quantities returned that are less than originally delivered

11. Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • Claims for damaged or lost goods during transit may be subject to carrier or insurance policies.
  • Afrik Import & Export Group Pty Ltd will assist in filing claims but is not liable beyond applicable coverage limits.

12. Exchanges

Exchanges are not guaranteed and are subject to product availability and approval. Any approved exchange may involve additional costs or revised delivery timelines.

13. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures in processing returns or refunds caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, or regulatory actions.

14. Policy Changes

Afrik Import & Export Group Pty Ltd reserves the right to modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will become effective immediately upon posting on our website.
